For Americans, the more important question is why does Obama push legislation through a Democrat controlled House without time for legislators to read the bill? At the end of June, when the American public is paying less attention than it might normally, there is no time for debate or discussion. Wasn't there a campaign promise about posting proposed legislation to give Americans time to read and understand such legislation?

Yes, there was:

Candidate Obama said he "will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American public an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website for five days."

Forget about the American public, President Obama doesn't even give the legislators an opportunity to review what they are voting on.

Legislators won't complain. They are exempt from the public health care plan.

They won't know for sure until they get a chance to read the Cliff Notes, but they can probably keep their SUVs too.

It couldn't be easier to prove this thesis wrong: Pravda, in the old days, never had a negative story about the Politburo. Just one unbiased story regarding the Obama administration would lend credence to the theory that CBS is, in fact, a news outlet rather than a propagandist outlet for the socialists in our culture.
